Mac MCCaleb


Bro. Mac McCaleb accepted the pastorship here at Marble City Baptist in May of 2017. He previously served as pastor of a baptist church in Martin, Tennessee for 9 years. Prior to that, he he has served churches in both Mississippi and Tennessee. 

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religion from Union University, a Master of Divinity from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary in Memphis, and is a Ph.D. Candidate at Mid-America in Memphis.

Bro. Mac and Mrs. Kim were married in 1996 and have two children, Josh and Sarah Beth. 

Mickey Green

Minister of Music

Mickey Green was called as our full-time minister of music at Marble City in December 2014. Mickey was raised in the small community of Fayetteville, Alabama which is 15 minutes outside of the City of Sylacauga. He and his family joined Marble City in 2010 where he served as guitarist and eventually grew to serve in various other roles of music ministry and church leadership. In July 2014, he became our interim minister of music, and then received God's call to full-time ministry here. 

Mickey and his wife Sandy met in high school and were married in March of 2002. They have two children; Lawson who was born in 2004, and Bailey who was born in 2007. Both of their children have made professions of faith and been baptized here at Marble City.

Zack Newsome

Minister of Students and Children

Zack Newsome is our full-time minister of youth and children. Zack and his wife Courtney began their ministry in Kenya, Africa as journeyman missionaries with the IMB. It was there in Africa where their son Nate was born in 2018. Zack began his ministry here at Marble City in August 2019. They have since had another son Zane who was born in 2020. 

Robyn Ousley

Church Secretary

Mrs. Robyn has been our church secretary since 2015. She knows most everything there is to know about our church. She is a very kind, approachable person to to greet you when you come or answer your questions when you call. Mrs. Robyn and her husband Travis have been faithful servants and members of Marble City for many years. She has two adult sons Nick and Reese.  

Kim McCaleb

Daycare and kindergARTEN Director

Mrs. Kim has many years experience with teaching and leading in preschool programs. She began working in our daycare and kindergarten program in 2017 as an assistant director, and became the director in January 2020. Kim is a great asset for our program. She has a big heart for families with young children, and a passion to give these children a head start on their academic and spiritual lives. Kim also happens to be wife to pastor Mac McCaleb, and mother to Josh and Sarah Beth.
