Mickey Green
Associate Pastor
Families, Music, and Missions
Mickey Green was called as our minister of music at Marble City in December 2014. Mickey was raised in the small community of Fayetteville, Alabama, which is 15 minutes outside of the City of Sylacauga. He and his wife are registered nurses. He and his family joined Marble City in 2010, where he served as a guitarist and eventually grew to serve in various other roles, including music ministry and as a deacon. In July 2014, he was selected as interim minister of music and received God's call to join our staff as full-time minister of music in December of 2014. After the pandemic, Mickey felt the need to work full-time in the field of nursing, but continued his call here as minister of music bivocationally. However, in April of 2026, he further accepted the call to full-time Gospel ministry and to be again full-time in the office as associate pastor of families, music, and missions. He was ordained as a pastor here on May 3rd, 2026.
Mickey and his wife, Sandy, met in high school and were married in March of 2002. They have two children; Lawson, who was born in 2004, and Bailey, who was born in 2007. Both of their children have made professions of faith and been baptized here at Marble City.
